1)  Q When and where do classes meet?
A
Morning and evening classes meet at 167 Holland Street.

All evening classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 - 9:00pm.

Morning classes meet 3 or 4 days per week, 9:00 - 11:45 am or 10:00 am -12:00 pm depending on level.

A
ELL classes are available to immigrants and refugees who reside in Massachusetts and are at least 16 years old.

Classes are free of charge.

To register for core classes, call SCALE at (617) 625-6600 x6900 or come to SCALE to put your name on the waiting list. Counseling staff at SCALE speak French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Currently, beginning level students usually wait 1 year to 18 months for an opening. The wait time for intermediate and advanced students can be less. Once you are placed on the waiting list, please let us know if your address and/or phone number changes. When spaces are available, we will send you a letter inviting you to an intake session.
