Massachusetts Adult Literacy Hotline
This hotline, funded by the Massachusetts Department of Education and administered by World Education, is a statewide referral service that provides free information and referrals to adult learners and people interested in volunteering in an ABE program.  The hotline database includes over 300 ABE programs statewide, offering ABE, GED, ADP/EDP, ESOL, citizenship, and family literacy services.  Callers can reach an operator seven days a week, from 6am until midnight at 1-800 447-8844.  TTY line: 1-800-956-8401
