To request a transfer to a new school within Somerville (for example, you want to move your child from the Brown School to the East Somerville Community School), you must complete a Transfer Request. Transfer Request forms may be filled out at the PIC.

Parents exiting their children from SEIP to Standard Education should bring with them a SEIP Exit Form signed by the teacher.

Parents will receive a letter of notification informing them if the transfer request is approved. If the transfer request is denied due to space availability, the student's name may be placed on a wait list if parent/guardian completes a Wait List Request Form.
