East Somerville Community School PTA
has been awarded
the 1st Annual Intercultural City Award
by The Welcome Project!!!
We are so honored!
The award was presented at Yum:
Taste of Immigrant City at the Armory on April 25.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day Luncheon:
At the Cummings Gym at 12:45pm on Wednesday, May 22 (1/2 day)
Parents are Cooking for the Teachers!!

Our Monthly PTA Discussion Groups with Dr. Hatch will be the first Thursday of every month:
Next Discussion: Thursday, June 6.
Topic: Our NEW school - creating the climate we want
This is our last discussion group for the year and it will be extra special:
Discussions will be held in the morning (8:15am) - come for food, fun and planning
and
Our evening (6pm) meeting will be a POTLUCK!! in Room 207A at the Edgerly - please come when it is most convenient for you. Light refreshments will be served. We hope you will join us!!!

There will also be dates in late June when we can help teachers pack for the move to our new school building.

It is never to late to join! Membership forms can be found in the offices at the Edgerly and Cummings and in the Parent/Community Liason Office (Room 207A at the Edgerly).
