The Somerville Public Schools do not shut down during the summer. Throughout the summer, the District also offers academic opportunities for students who need to catch up to be ready for Fall, as well as safe extracurricular and other learning opportunities for students of all ages.

The NEXT school year will start on Wednesday, September 3rd! This will be a ½ day for all students. If you have any questions about how to prepare for the start of school in September - besides playing, reading and relaxing -do not hesitate to call your student's school between 8:00 and 4:00 on any weekday over the summer. Don't know the number? Call 617-625-6600 and ask the operator for the main office of your student's school.
