Teachers and Students:



Attention staff:  We received word that anyone parked in the fire lane in front of the high school

will be subjected to ticketing and towing, this also applies to anyone parked on the concourse without a CONCOURSE PARKING PERMIT.


The Hole In the Wall is selling SHS penants for $7.  This new edition is bigger and better with the Highlander logo.  Show your school pride and get one while they last!!




Driver Education classes will begin at SHS on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.  There is a sign-up sheet in the main office or call Pleasant Auto School at 781- 284-4388.  Classes will be held on Tuesday & Thursday afternnoons from 3:30-6:30 p.m. for 5 weeks.  Please bring $225.00 cash deposit or check payable to Pleasant Auto School on the first class on March 14, 2017.


Fitness Room:  The fitness room will be open on Thursdays after school.


ID’s:  Hey SHS this is your daily reminder  that ID’s should be worn and visible at all times.


Lunchroom  Passes:  Please be advised that students will not receive passes from lunch without their permanent, real ID, temps are no longer acceptable passes. 


Let’s Get Ready:  (For 11th grade students)  SAT prep provided by Tufts students here at SHS on Monday and Wednesday evenings.  The program starts the first week in February and its completely FREE!  See your guidance counselor for further information.


Career Launch:  (For 10, 11th or 12th grade students)  A workforce readiness program that meets after school.  The program will start January 9th and for 10 weeks.  Students will learn workforce readiness skills, figure out what career they want to pursue, and possibly get linked to job/internships in that field.  The program is free and students receive a certificate of completion to show to future employers. 


French club is meeting every Monday at 2:45 p.m. in room 457 with Ms. Sait.  We make food, watch movies, play games and go on field trips.

Spring sports registration is now open. Go to Athletes may register for softball, baseball, boys and girls ultimate Frisbee, boys and girls crew, boys volleyball, boys and girls tennis or boys and girls track and field. The season starts Monday, March 20


Mandatory Medical Screening and Clearance for Spring Sports: All athletes despite previous participation must register, be screened and cleared each season. Please provide us with a copy of your most current physical (no more than 13 months old) and insurance card on the designated date below. 

3/7/17 Softball 3PM, Baseball 4PM, Ultimate Frisbee 5PM

3/8/17 Crew 3PM, Boys Volleyball 4PM, Tennis 5PM

3/9/17 Boys Outdoor Track and Field 3PM, Girls Outdoor Track and Field 4PM

All freshmen, athletes who tested in 2014, first year athletes and/or transfer students will have to IMPACT test.
