MCAS State Testing

Somerville High School students participate in state assessments designed to measure academic progress, language development, and readiness for future success. The Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) evaluates students’ knowledge and skills in key academic areas, while the ACCESS for Multilingual Learners assessment measures English language proficiency and growth for students developing English skills.
