The Kennedy School is committed to providing all students with the academic, social, and emotional experiences needed for future success, supported by a highly qualified staff using research-based instruction and assessment. Serving Pre-K to Grade 8 students, the school offers a wide range of enriching opportunities, including a Makerspace and Innovation Lab, extended library/media access, and strong social-emotional learning through the Second Step curriculum. Targeted programs such as SEEK (Grades 1–6) and SKIP (Pre-K to Grade 8) ensure inclusive support for students with diverse needs, alongside services like speech therapy, ESL support, and learning resource classrooms across all grades. Students also engage in hands-on learning, leadership experiences, and enrichment opportunities such as afterschool programs, reading partnerships, and academic competitions. The Kennedy School was also recognized as one of only 354 schools nationwide named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School, an honor awarded for overall academic excellence or progress in closing achievement gaps among student groups.
