Mental Health and Wellness
Somerville High School encourages students and families to seek immediate support during a mental health emergency or crisis. In situations involving immediate danger, individuals should call 911.
Rise Program
Our adjustment counselors are licensed professionals who support students’ mental health needs in the school setting. We also offer the Rise program, which provides additional social, emotional, and academic support during the school day under the supervision of a licensed adjustment counselor.
Mental Health
For urgent mental health concerns, the CHA Behavioral Health Urgent Care provides 24/7 phone support at 1-833-222-2030, offering guidance and connections to care for concerns such as depression, anger, emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, substance use, and other crisis situations.
Students and families experiencing feelings of sadness, loneliness, hopelessness, or thoughts of suicide can also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for free and confidential support.
