Welcome to Somerville Public Schools! Whether your child is starting school for the first time, moving into a new grade, or transferring from another school, the Enrollment Office is here to help make the process as clear and welcoming as possible.
Explore the resources below to find information about enrollment for every grade level, learn about our schools and opportunities to visit, review residency and health documentation requirements, and learn about transferring between SPS schools. You’ll also find information about registering for the current school year and getting started with your child’s enrollment.

Enrollment Office Hours
Monday: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00–9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Work with an enrollment specialist during our office hours. Call 617-629-5670 or email enrollment@k12.somerville.ma.us for an appointment. Our specialists speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, and French. Please note: last appointments of the day are booked for 3:00pm.
