English Language Learning (ELL)

ELL classes integrate English speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and writing. Digital Literacy is integrated into all classes as well. Students receive educational and career advising services to assist them in planning for entry into postsecondary, training and/or workforce.

• The morning program offers four levels (1–4) and meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 
• The evening program also includes four levels of core English instruction (1–4) and meets Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  

SCALE maintains a waitlist for enrollment, and wait times may be a year or longer. When space becomes available, individuals are contacted by phone or mail and invited to complete placement testing to determine appropriate class level.
